  • In his current role, Tim serves as the director of program development for ASU’s Knowledge Enterprise and his expertise lies in research administration, program management, data science, information technology, risk and threat assessment, medical and public health and policy analysis. He is trained as a mathematical epidemiologist.
  • Through his work with Arizona State University and the Pathfinder Initiative, Tim is helping trace information to decisions by developing a value chain that looks at the benefits of VIIRS, MODIS, TEMPO and ACX in the context of air quality and human health in Maricopa County, Arizona.
  • Dr. Lant earned a doctorate in applied mathematics, a Master of Actuarial Science (Risk) degree and has continuing education in policy analysis and biological threats. He has authored dozens of presentations, reports, policy briefings and peer-reviewed journal articles on exercise design and assessment, emergency management, resource management and modeling and simulation. Audiences for his work include the general public, first responders, public officials and academic/policy researchers.
