Natalie Laudier serves as the Chief for the Products and Piloting Branch within NESDIS’s Systems Architecture and Engineering Office.  She is responsible for  managing the NESDIS Commercial Data Program (CDP) and establishing policy and procedures for NESDIS satellite products and services. Prior to joining NOAA in April 2024, Ms. Laudier served in a variety of leadership roles throughout the Department of Defense. She is a retired Naval Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC) Officer who served on both Active duty and Reserves. Throughout her career she led many teams to deliver operational products and new science and technological capabilities. These included prototyping commercial data and services, undersea agile software development projects, and integrating operational products for improved decision making. She earned her Master of Science degree in Meteorology and Oceanography from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Bachelor of Science in Oceanography from the U.S. Naval Academy.
